INTEGRITY – Human space
Anna Lidström and Marta Kisand, 2010
The aim of this project was to explore the possibilities and limits of the human space in space in the metropolitan Tokyo area. In fifteen experiments, we reconstructed the human body in different ways based on different textile sculptures and through this also reform the energy zone of the body, and from this abstracts a formal model of a spatial relationship in the three axes of the built world. As such the body-sculptures are not only means to analyse and study, but they are also a direct way to abstract their concrete idea. Through the sculptures contrast to the body, the lit and blown-up textile structures, they abstract the animated body and its relationship to the built world.
