Domestic provocations is an international artistic research project interested in cross/inter and transdisciplinary collaborations furthering research in art, design and related disciplines. The keynote colloqium will bring together works by stalwarts from various professions and their response to our theme:
Creativity, as a Provocateur of Care and Vice Versa.
We aim to develop a space for us to re-think the world, sitting at home through the home for the home to make the world a home. In response to these dismal times, declared unsustainable by Chomsky and other thought leaders, we require caring environments and collaborative practices for the creative communities to flourish: “Domestic Provocations" aims to theorize creativity as a humane endeavour, conceptualized and performed with utmost ingenuity, responsibility, emotion, devotion, and care with an aspiration to enrich own and others’ lives building multiple intra-textual, intertextual and contextual relations to fashion a dialogue.
